Preheat your oven to 425°F.
In an 8x8-inch baking dish, spread the uncooked rice evenly.
Pour the beef broth and French onion soup over the rice.
Slice the cold butter into pats and dot them evenly over the top.
Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Uncover and bake for another 25 minutes.
Sprinkle some fresh parsley on top and serve warm.
