Pear Galette
  1. Spread butter in between two pie crusts and roll out.

  2. Place an 8" plate on top leaving 1.5-2" of crust around the edge.

  3. Cut into ½" strips.

  4. Braid as shown in video.

  5. Sprinkle bottom with cinnamon sugar.

  6. Layer on pears.

  7. Sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar.

  8. Brush edge with egg wash and sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar.

  9. Dot top with butter

  10. Bake at 400° for 30-35 minutes.
