Cranberry Pepper Jam
  1. Boil everything

  2. Mash with a potato masher or blend the mixture using an immersion blender

  3. Turn down the heat and simmer 10 more minutes

  4. Ladle into 12 quarter pint jars or 6 half pint jars

  5. Wipe rims and add lids

  6. Screw on rings fingertip tight

  7. Water bath 5 minutes for quarter pints or 10 minutes for half pints

  8. Remove from water bath and let sit 12-24 hours undisturbed

  9. Check seals then wash jars in warm soapy water to remove any sticky residue

  10. Remove bands and store, or add a decorative fabric scrap to the lid and screw the ring on over it for a giftable treat
