Cook the quinoa according to the package directions and set aside.
Position a rack in the top of the oven and preheat it to 375F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
Spread the quinoa evenly in a single layer on the lined sheet pan, with no pieces on top of each other. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons olive oil and season with ¼ teaspoon salt. Mix to coat.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring halfway through. If using a finisher, add it after 15 minutes of baking and use a spatula to mix it in. Continue baking until the quinoa is golden brown, shrunken, and crispy.
