Rinse ¾ cup white rice and ¼ cup pearled barley
Add rice and barley to rice cooker with 1–1¼ cups water, ½ tsp salt, and 1 tsp sesame oil
Mix 10 oz thinly sliced beef with 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, 3 cloves minced garlic, ½ small thinly sliced onion, ½ tsp ginger, and black pepper
Layer 1 cup sliced mushrooms, 1 small julienned carrot, 1 cup spinach, and 1–1½ cups mung bean sprouts on top of uncooked rice
Spread marinated protein on top of vegetables
Cook on White Rice/Glutinous setting
Rest 10 minutes on Warm setting
Fluff and mix the rice and ingredients
Top each bowl with a fried egg, scallions, sesame seeds, and bibimbap sauce made from 1 tbsp gochujang and 1 tsp sesame oil
