Spam Musubi Bowl
  1. Make rice, once cooked add vinegar and sugar so it's sticky .

  2. Cut spam into equal sized cubes or slices (you can get 10 slices from one can) cook until browned, set aside as they cook. remove excess grease

  3. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, hoisin, and oyster sauce. Add to pan with meat and stir for 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens and coats the spam well.

  4. Serve chopped spam on top of rice and garnish with furikake. Or use musubi maker. Place maker on top a strip of nori, add rice (enough so it's a ½ inch thick when pressed), smoosh, add spam on top, wrap with seasweed. Garnish with kewpie mayo, siracha an egg patty, and/or green onions (optional)

    (serve with veg too. a cucumber/carrot salad with a seasame oil, soysauce, mirin, rice vinegar sauce is great)

  5. Usually 2 musubi with a side of cucumber salad is a good portion
