Shortbread
  1. In large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.

  2. Combine flour, cornstarch and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.

  3. Roll dough into a 15x2x1-in. rectangle; chill.

  4. Preheat oven to 325°.

  5. Cut into ¼-in. slices; place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets.

  6. Prick with a fork.

  7. Bake 10-12 minutes or until set.

  8. Remove to wire racks to cool.
