Herbal Skin Balm
  1. Put oil and herbs in a double boiler and simmer for 20 mins to infuse the herbs into the oil.

  2. You can also do this in a crockpot by placing the jar in the crockpot and surrounding it with water, placing on low for 4-5 hrs.

  3. Once your oil is ready, combine it with shea butter, jojoba oil, beeswax, and vitamin e oil.

  4. Simmer on a double boiler until melted together.

  5. Stir in zinc oxide powder and optional red iron oxide for color.

  6. Make sure you stir well to remove any clumps.

  7. Pour into container of choice, let cool and harden, then use for bug bites, itchy skin, etc.
