Beansprout Banchan (sookjunamul-muchim)
  1. Wash the bean sprouts

  2. Add the bean sprouts to a pot with 1 cup of boiling water

  3. Close the lid and steam the bean sprouts for 7 minutes

  4. Strain the water, and rinse in cold water. Shake off the moisture from the bean sprouts

  5. Add sesame oil, sesame seeds, and salt to taste

  6. Enjoy with rice, keep chilled in an airtight container for up to 1 week
