Butter Swim Biscuit Cinnamon Rolls
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine two and a half cups of flour with a quarter cup of brown sugar, a tablespoon of baking powder, and one and a half tablespoons of ground cinnamon. Whisk the dry ingredients together until well mixed.

  2. Next, add two cups of heavy cream and a teaspoon of vanilla to the bowl. Stir everything together until you form a sticky dough.

  3. Set the dough aside and preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

  4. Take an 8x8 baking dish and melt a stick of butter. Pour the melted butter into the dish.

  5. Place the ball of dough into the baking dish on top of the butter and spread it out as evenly as possible.

  6. For easier serving, pre-cut the dough into biscuit shapes.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  8. Once baked, allow the biscuits to cool before icing them.

  9. To prepare the icing, whisk together one and a half cups of powdered sugar, three tablespoons of melted butter, a teaspoon of vanilla, and about two tablespoons of heavy cream until smooth.

  10. Drizzle or spread the icing over the cinnamon roll biscuits, then serve one on a plate and enjoy.
