Degi Matar Masala
  1. Dry roast 1 tbsp cumin seeds, 1 tbsp fennel seeds, 3-4 cloves, 1 inch cinnamon, 3-4 cardamom, 8-9 black peppercorns and grind

  2. In a Kadhai add oil and fry thinly sliced 2 medium sized onions

  3. Transfer the fried onions in mixer, add 2 tbsp curd, fresh coriander and 2-3 green chillies, make a fine paste out of it

  4. Now in the same oil add finely chopped ginger garlic, sauté for a sometime and add fresh green peas

  5. Add 1 ½ tbsp masala that we have made earlier, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder

  6. Sauté for some time and add gravy paste

  7. Mix it well, add salt as per taste and 1 cup of water

  8. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes

  9. Lastly add some roasted kasuri methi
