Canh Khoai Sọ Thì Là Taro Soup With Pork And Dill
  1. Peel the Taro potatoes, rinse well, cut into half

  2. Add to a bowl of water to prevent browning, set aside

  3. Fresh Dill - Rinse and roughly chop

  4. Cut the Pork Ribs, rinse well

  5. Add to a pot of water and parboil for 5 minutes to remove impurities

  6. Discard water, rinse well, set aside

  7. Start new pot of water for the soup

  8. Add in the parboiled Pork

  9. Add 1 Tbsp Chicken Seasoning

  10. Once the water comes to a simmer, turn heat to med-low, cover with lid. Simmer for at least 45 minutes or until the pork ribs are tender

  11. Occasionally skim foam to keep the broth clear

  12. Remove lid and add in the Taro potatoes

  13. Let Taro potatoes cook for about 10 - 15 minutes or until cooked

  14. Add in the chopped Dill

  15. Season the soup broth with Chicken Soup Seasoning, Fish Sauce and Sugar to taste
