Roughly chop celery, carrot, yellow onion, and garlic
Toss the chopped vegetables into a soup pot
Cover vegetables with chicken stock
Add rosemary, thyme, and bay leaf to the pot
Simmer until all vegetables are tender
Remove the herbs from the soup
Blend the cooked vegetables until smooth
Add the blended vegetables back into the broth
Boil pastina according to package directions
Add butter, salt, pepper, and Parmesan to the cooked pastina
Pour the pastina mixture into the soup broth
Serve and enjoy
