Torta Di Mele In Padella (apple Cake In A Pan)
  1. Add eggs, sugar, ½ tsp cinnamon and ginger to a large bowl and whisk either by hand or with an electric mixer until frothy.

  2. Add vegetable oil, vanilla extract, milk and yogurt and whisk until lump free.

  3. In a separate bowl combine flour and baking powder. Add this mixture to the wet ingredients and whisk until lump free. Then grate in one large apple and mix once more.

  4. Grease a 9 inch nonstick frying pan with butter. Sprinkle brown sugar over the pan and use a spoon to spread it. Place the apples on top of the brown sugar as shown and sprinkle with ¼ tsp cinnamon.

  5. Pour batter over the apples, cover and cook on low heat for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. On a scale from 1 to 10 the heat level should be at 4 or 42.

  6. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
