Combine farmers cheese, egg, sugar, flour, and vanilla well. Knead the mixture with your hands.
Roll the mixture into a log on your table top.
Cut into equal portions and shape each piece. Sprinkle with a bit of flour.
Fry on medium-low heat with neutral oil or butter in the pan until golden and crisp. Cover the pan so they cook through faster.
