Never Fail Fruit Cake
  1. Preheat oven to 300°F and grease a loaf or tube pan.

  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Stir in mixed fruit and pecans to coat evenly.

  4. In a bowl, whisk eggs, orange juice, butter, and molasses.

  5. Mix wet and dry until just combined.

  6. Pour into pan and bake 1½–2 hours until firm and golden.

  7. Cool completely before slicing.
