Homemade Mustard
  1. In a bowl add ⅓ cup of mustard seeds into 1 cup water and ½ cup white vinegar and let it sit for 24 hrs.

  2. Drain and rinse well after 24hrs.

  3. Add all your listed ingredients except the honey/sweetener to either a high speed blender or food processor and blend till it's a smooth consistency.

  4. Then add your mixture to a pot and simmer on low for 10 minutes or until it gets to the thickness of your choice.

  5. Remove from heat and let it cool a bit then add your choice of sweetener I used organic honey.

  6. Add it to an air sealed jar and refrigerate for a day or 2 before you enjoy.

  7. As the days go by your mustard will mellow out and won't be as strong after a week it will loose the strength and be more similar to regular mustard.

  8. This recipe can last up to 2 months in the refrigerator.
