Rinse and wash the rice in running cold water thrice or until the water is clear
Soak the rice for at least 30 minutes until the rice grains absorb water
Cook the rice uncovered on medium heat until the water reduces and holes start to appear in between the rice grains
Reduce the flame, cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes
Once done, turn off the flame and let it rest for at least 5 to 6 minutes before serving
Always use a thin spatula to fluff the rice
