Season your pasta water, then cook the pasta.
In a pan, heat a generous amount of olive oil over medium heat.
Slice the garlic and add it to the oil, toasting it.
Add some red chili flakes.
When the pasta is done, toss it into the pan with the garlic and oil, adding a little pasta water to emulsify.
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
Season to taste.
