Swabian Sour Potatoes
  1. Boil potatoes with skin, drain and let cool off a bit.

  2. Heat butter with flour, mix well to make a 'Mehlschwitze'.

  3. Add broth and wine, bring to a boil, thicken.

  4. Add bay leaf, cloves, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 min.

  5. Peel potatoes, cut in thin slices.

  6. Heat sausages in water.

  7. Add potatoes to gravy, let sit for 3 min.

  8. Adjust seasoning, remove bay leaf and cloves.

  9. Cut sausages in slices and add to potatoes, sprinkle with chives.
