Caramel Recipe (easy)
  1. Place butter in microwave safe glass measuring cup or bowl and microwave on HIGH for 45 seconds.

  2. Add brown sugar, cream, salt and vanilla and stir until well combined. Microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds.

  3. Stir and microwave on HIGH for 15 seconds or until completely smooth.

  4. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Caramel will thicken during this time.
