Beignets
  1. ⁠Whisk warm water sugar and yeast and let stand for 10 minutes

  2. ⁠Beat egg and add vanilla and milk

  3. ⁠Blend half the flour, yeast mixture and egg until smooth

  4. ⁠Blend in salt and remainder of the flour until smooth

  5. ⁠Cover and rest in fridge for up to 24 hours

  6. ⁠Heat oil to 360F

  7. ⁠Roll out dough to ¼ inch thick rectangle

  8. ⁠Cut into 2.5 inch squares

  9. ⁠Cook for 1 minute

  10. ⁠Dust with powdered sugar
