Whisk warm water sugar and yeast and let stand for 10 minutes
Beat egg and add vanilla and milk
Blend half the flour, yeast mixture and egg until smooth
Blend in salt and remainder of the flour until smooth
Cover and rest in fridge for up to 24 hours
Heat oil to 360F
Roll out dough to ¼ inch thick rectangle
Cut into 2.5 inch squares
Cook for 1 minute
Dust with powdered sugar
