Preheat the oven to 200°C
In mixing bowl combine the butter and sugar into a creamy paste.
Stir in the grated apple.
Rollout pastry sheet number 1- spread over your filling evenly.
Rollout out pastry sheet 2 on top.
Using a knife cut lengthways making 6 long rectangles.
Twist each piece 5-6 times like in the video.
Prepare a lined flat baking tin, make a “rose” circle shape.
Bake for 23-25 minutes. until the pastry has puffed up and has a lovely golden colour on top.
Remove and let cool fully removing from the tray and icing.
Add the icing ingredients into a bowl and stir until silky smooth.
Drizzle over the pastries and sprinkle over the nuts.
