  1. Cook the protein noodles according to package directions

  2. Prepare the tofu by cutting into cubes

  6. Add chili oil or chili paste and Sichuan peppercorns

  7. Add broth and bring to a simmer

  8. Gently add tofu cubes to the sauce

  9. Simmer until tofu is heated through

  10. Pour the mapo tofu sauce over cooked noodles

  11. Serve hot
