Prepare the tofu by cutting into cubes
Heat oil in a wok or large pan
Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant
Add ground meat and cook until browned
Add chili oil or chili paste and Sichuan peppercorns
Add broth and bring to a simmer
Gently add tofu cubes to the sauce
Simmer until tofu is heated through
Pour the mapo tofu sauce over cooked noodles
Serve hot
