Cookie Bark
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix to combine. Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract and stir to combine.

  2. Add the flour, baking soda and salt and mix until just combined and no streaks of flour remain. Last, fold in ⅔ cup of the mini chocolate chips.

  3. Place the cookie dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out into a thin layer a little less than ¼ inch thick. Remove the top sheet of parchment paper and place the dough (still on the bottom sheet of parchment paper) onto a baking sheet.

  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown all over and firm to the touch. Set aside to cool.

  5. Once the cookie bark is cool, melt the remaining ⅓ cup of chocolate chips in the microwave and drizzle all over the cookie bark. Allow the chocolate to set. Sprinkle with flaky salt, break into pieces and enjoy!
