Instant Pot Cheesy Beef and Potato Stew
  1. Turn Instant Pot to sauté setting. When the display says HOT add in the oil. Season the stew meat with the steak seasoning. Work in batches to brown the stew meat for about 5 minutes on each side.

  2. Once all meat has been browned add in the onion and sauté for 3 minutes.

  3. Pour in the broth and scrape the bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking.

  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 20 minutes. When time is up, move the valve to vent, and remove the lid.

  5. Evenly dump in the potatoes. Salt and pepper the potatoes to taste. Dump the cream of mushroom soup and garlic powder on top.

  6. Cover and make sure the valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 10 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 10+ minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.

  7. Gently stir. Sprinkle the cheese on top and let it melt. Serve and enjoy!
