Option to bake a half portion of homemade oreo cookies, no center cream necessary:
Chill a bowl and whisk attachment in the freezer for 20 minutes. I like the 7 cup glass containers with the rubber lids. It is barely enough to hold the entire mixture, I use the flexible lid to cover the cream while the electric mixer is going.
Whip the cream and vanilla with an electric mixer until it has become fluffy and stiff, but not butter! Gently stir in can of sweetened condensed milk until incorporated, then add crushed cookies.
Depending on your ice cream container, you may need to cover the cream with plastic wrap touching the surface so no ice crystals form, and seal with a lid. Freeze 4 to 6 hours and enjoy!
