In a bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons honey, 1 tablespoon hot sauce, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 2 garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, and ½ teaspoon black pepper until combined.
Pour the marinade over 1 ½ to 2 pounds chicken thighs or breasts and coat well.
Refrigerate the chicken for 30 minutes to 8 hours before grilling or baking.
Brush with a little extra hot honey after cooking, if desired.
