Air Fryer Pita Bread Recipe
  1. Place the frozen Rhodes rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  2. Cover lightly with plastic wrap sprayed with nonstick spray so it doesn’t stick.

  3. Let them thaw and rise at room temperature until doubled in size (about 3–5 hours).

  4. Lightly flour your surface and rolling pin (or just use your hands).

  5. Gently flatten each roll into a 4–5 inch round, about ¼ inch thick.

  6. Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it preheat for about 3 minutes.

  7. Place 1–2 flattened rounds in the air fryer basket (don’t overcrowd).

  8. Air fry for 3–4 minutes, flip, then another 2–3 minutes until lightly golden and puffed.

  9. If you want them softer, air fry a minute less and cover them with a towel right after cooking to trap steam.

  10. Right after cooking, brush with olive oil or garlic butter for extra flavor.

  11. Slice in half for pockets, or keep whole for dipping with hummus, tzatziki, or spreads.
