  1. Begin by slicing the tofu into steaks and pressing it while you prepare the chimichurri.

  3. In a bowl, combine finely chopped parsley, red chili, oregano, salt, pepper, and olive oil to create the chimichurri.

  4. Set aside a few tablespoons of the chimichurri to use as a marinade for the tofu steaks.

  5. Marinate the tofu steaks in the chimichurri for a few hours or overnight for best flavor.

  6. When ready to cook, preheat the grill and grill the tofu steaks for about five to six minutes on each side, basting with additional marinade after flipping.
