Carnivore Cream Cheese Danish
  1. Preheat oven to 325/165

  2. Bring cheese to room temperature to soften.

  3. Put protein powder, glycine, baking soda, and cream of tartar in a sifter to use later in the recipe.

  4. In a large bowl, add softened cheese and melted butter. Using electric mixer, mix well.

  5. Add in one egg at a time, 4 total, and mix well after each.

  6. Add baking powder and beef gelatin and mix well.

  7. Add almond extract and mix well.

  8. Sift protein powder et al over wet ingredients and gently hand stir and fold together. Do not overmix.

  9. Shape dough into 5" rounds that are about an inch high. Bake 20 minutes.

  10. Set oven to 300/149.

  11. Allow cream cheese to come to room temperature. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

  12. Spoon cream cheese mixture on top of base/Danish and bake 10-12 minutes to cook egg yolk.
