Add sugar to a mixing glass.
Add three to four dashes of angostura bitters.
Measure and pour in 2 ounces of bourbon into mixing glass.
Add ice and stir until the sugar is dissolved and the drink is diluted.
Strain and pour your cocktail into an old fashioned glass with one large ice cube.
Express an orange peel along the edge of the glass and add to glass as a garnish, along with a cocktail cherry.
