Vegan Ginger Cake
  1. Combine flour, spices & bicarb in a large mixing bowl

  2. Melt together butter, sugar, treacle & syrup until combined on very low heat

  3. Allow to cool for 3-4mins before adding to dry mixture and stirring with a wooden spoon

  4. As a smooth batter forms, add milk & stir again until combined

  5. Pour batter into a lined cake/loaf tin & bang twice on the counter

  6. Place into preheated oven & bake for 30-40mins at 180c until a skewer comes out clean

  7. Leave the cake covered until serving to maintain a sticky top!
