Cut the corn tortillas into triangles. Measure out the oil for frying or brushing.
Frying Method: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the tortilla triangles in batches for 1-2 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Baking Method: Preheat the oven to 375°F. Brush tortilla triangles with oil, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 10-12 minutes until crispy.
Sprinkle with salt and optional chili powder or lime juice while still warm.
