  1. preheat oven to 325 degrees fahrenheit

  2. melt vegan butter

  3. pour brown sugar and granulated sugar into a bowl, add melted vegan butter and whisk together

  4. whisk in ground flax seed and vanilla extract

  5. optional: let sit for 10 minutes

  6. add flour, baking soda, and salt. stir until combined

  7. fold in chocolate chips

  8. use 1\4 cup scoop to place on cookie sheet

  9. bake for 14-15 minutes
