Chicken Shawarma Rice Bowls

When cooking the chicken make sure it’s on medium heat. Use cooking spray or olive oil if preferred

Make the golden rice before cooking the chicken

You can make the Samurai Sauce and Cucumber Yogurt mix in bulk and store separately. Only add to your meal when ready to eat

Reheat the rice and chicken separately to the other components

Checklist

STEP 1 - Start by slicing the chicken breast into thinner fillet slices. Add all seasonings listed, mix till well combined and cook with light butter.

STEP 2 - Next in a pot add washed uncooked rice with the spices listed and water. Bring to a light bubble then cover and simmer on low heat till fully cooked.

STEP 3 - Meanwhile get a pan on medium high heat and cook the chicken for 3-4 mins each side till golden brown.

STEP 4 - In a bowl add greek yoghurt, chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, parsley and the listed seasoning. Mix till well combined.

STEP 6 - Once everything is cooked and ready, serve on a plate or distribute into 4 equal portions, garnish with fresh parsley and ENJOY!
