Beat together 4 eggs and 2 cups sugar until thick and light yellow, and mixture falls from beater in a ribbon
Sift together ¾ cup cocoa powder and ½ cup flour
Scrape seeds from 1 vanilla bean and add to egg mixture
Add 1 tablespoon Framboise to the mixture
On low speed, slowly add the dry ingredients to avoid lumps
Melt 2 sticks butter and let cool slightly, then pour into batter
Pour batter into a buttered 9 by 12 inch baking pan
Place baking pan in a water bath with very hot tap water
Bake at 325 degrees for exactly 1 hour until baked on outside and pudding-like in the middle
Test with a toothpick in the middle - it should come out wet, almost half-baked
Serve with ice cream
