Fondant Potatoes
  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into even-sized cylinders

  2. Heat butter in a pan over medium-high heat

  3. Add the potatoes and brown on all sides

  4. Pour in chicken stock to cover the potatoes

  5. Add thyme, salt, and pepper

  6. Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender

  7. Remove lid and continue cooking until liquid has reduced and potatoes are golden brown
