Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg) in a large bowl.
Add the butter and sugar beat with a mixer until crumbly.
Add the cream, honey, vanilla, and almond extract into the bowl and combine until a thick dough is formed.
Roll the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ½ inch thick.
Cut it into squares and place on the cookie sheet.
Carve two shallow diagonal lines from one corner to another with a knife to form an 'X'.
Bake for 12 minutes until the bread is set and golden.
