Russian Dills
  1. Boil 1 minute: 1 ½ cups sugar, 1 ½ cups white vinegar, 1 ½ cups water, 2 Tablespoons salt, 1 Tablespoon pickling spice

  2. Put dill, 1 glove garlic, ½ onion and 1 hot pepper in each jar

  3. Pack in cucumbers and cover with brine

  4. Put jars in hot water bath just until pickles turn color (Approx. 20 minutes)

  5. Let cool to seal
