Copycat Cheesecake Factory Brown Bread
  1. In a bowl, combine whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt, instant yeast, and cocoa powder.

  2. Add in warm water, warm honey (or maple syrup) and olive oil. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.

  3. Transfer to a flat surface and knead for about 5 minutes until a smooth, slightly sticky dough forms. Wet your hands if your dough is really tough.

  4. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise in a very warm place for 1 hour.

  5. Divide the dough into 2. Flatten one piece down into a rectangle, roll it long wise and then pinch the ends together to create a baguette shape. Repeat with the other piece of dough.

  6. Brush with some water and sprinkle on some oats (optional). Press the oats in so they stick.

  7. Allow to rise for another 30 minutes until they’ve about doubled in size.

  8. Score the top with a knife, then bake at 350 degrees F for 30 min.

  9. Allow to cool, slice and enjoy!
