Apple Fritter Sourdough Focaccia Recipe
  1. The night before baking mix together 100 g active starter, 375 g of water, 30 g of honey, 500 g of bread flour, and 10g salt. Do a couple sets of stretch and folds before bed. Let it sit on the counter overnight or about 10-12hrs.

  2. Make the cinnamon sugar butter by melting 1 stick of butter and mixing with 1-2TBSP Cinnamon and ¼- ½ cup brown sugar.

  3. Grease baking pan with some of the melted butter before adding in the cinnamon and brown sugar. Add dough to baking pan and pour the melted sugar cinnamon butter mixture on top and top with sliced apples.

  4. Dimple dough to incorporate mixture. Cover with foil and bake at 425°F for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 20 minutes.

  5. Make the glaze by mixing 1 cup powdered sugar, 1tsp vanilla, and 1-2TBSP milk or creamer while the focaccia is baking.

  6. Remove focaccia from the oven and add glaze on top. Slice and enjoy!
