Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Add chopped strawberries and cherries to the mixture, and combine well.
Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into circles.
Place a spoonful of the fruit and cream cheese mixture on half of each circle.
Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
Brush the top with beaten egg.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
