Preheat oven to 425F.
Spread tater tots in a single layer and bake for 15 minutes until slightly softened.
Smash each tot flat with the bottom of a glass into a disc about ¼ to ½ inch thick.
Return to oven and bake another 15-25 minutes until deeply golden and crispy.
Cool for 10-15 minutes.
Whisk together all dressing ingredients until smooth.
Gently fold cooled tater tots, bacon, cheddar and green onions into the dressing until evenly coated.
Serve immediately for maximum crispiness!
