Let's add a little bit of oil to the pan and turn on the heat
The absolute best trick for making sure you get perfect popcorn every time is adding in a single kernel and then once that one pops, you know the oil is hot enough to put the rest in
You can use store bought popcorn for this, but you might as well do it fresh. It's way cheaper.
My one kernel has popped so now I'm gonna put in half a cup of popcorn or it's just corn
Transfer the popcorn to another bowl
In the same pan, put half a cup of butter
Once that's all melted, add in a full thing of marshmallows and melt it down until it becomes a liquid
Add in a cap worth of vanilla extract and a little bit of extra salt
Add our popcorn right back into the melted marshmallow mixture and just give it a good stir
Throw this into a pan and then you can cut it into squares or you can just eat it right out of the pot
