Banana Bread
  1. Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.

  2. Blend in bananas, eggs and vanilla.

  3. Sift flour, soda and salt to-gether.

  4. Add to banana mixture alternately with buttermilk, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Add nuts and mix.

  5. Pour batter into greased and floured 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.

  6. Bake at 325° for 1 ¼ hours or until well done.
