Bread Machine Garlic Cheese Bread

⅞ Cups Milk (warm) – 207 milliliters

3 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter (softened) – 43 grams

¾ Tablespoon Light Brown Sugar – 10 grams

2 ½ Cups Bread Flour – 300 grams

1 Cup Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese (shredded cheese) – 112 grams

3 Garlic Cloves (Large) – 21 grams – Minced & fried garlic (not garlic powder)

1 ¼ Teaspoons Salt – 7.5 grams

1 ¼ Teaspoons Bread Machine Yeast (or Instant Yeast) – 4 grams

1 ⅛ Cups Milk (warm) – 259 milliliters

4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter (softened) – 57 grams

1 Tablespoon Light Brown Sugar – 13 grams

3 Cups Bread Flour – 360 grams

1 ⅓ Cups Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese (shredded cheese) – 150 grams

4 Garlic Cloves (Large) – 28 grams – Minced & fried garlic (not garlic powder)

1 ½ Teaspoons Salt – 9 grams

1 ½ Teaspoons Bread Machine Yeast (or Instant Yeast) – 4.5 grams

Fry & mince the garlic cloves.
Soften the butter in a microwave.
Unplug the bread machine & remove the bread pan.
Pour the milk & butter into the bread pan and then add the other ingredients (including cheese & garlic). Place the bread machine yeast in last and the yeast should not touch the liquid or salt.
Place the bread pan (with ingredients) back into the unplugged bread machine.
Plug in the bread machine. Enter the correct settings (basic, light color & 1.5 or 2 lb) and press the 'start' button.
When the bread machine has finished baking the bread, unplug the bread machine and remove the bread pan.
Remove the bread from the bread pan and place it on a cooling rack.
