Banana And Chocolate Chip Cookies
  1. You will need two bowls, one large mixing bowl and one small one. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C, Gas 4)

  2. Each contains all the dry ingredients, such as flour, baking soda, baking powder, kosher salt, ground cinnamon (dry ingredients through a sieve), and sugar.

  3. Prepare the wet ingredients in the second small bowl and mash the banana. Add the egg yolk, sugar, and vanilla extract, mix everything well, and add the melted butter.*Melt the butter in a small saucepan on low heat. When it is already ⅔ melted, remove it from the heat and constantly stir. Then, melt the rest of the butter. This way, the butter quickly becomes lukewarm so that you can add it to the other ingredients.

  4. Once you have melted the butter, add it to the banana mass and mix thoroughly.

  5. Then, add the chocolate chip and mix.Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat so that the cookies do not stick while baking.

  6. Form the cookie dough balls, I fit 6 on a standard tray. I use a cookie scoop or ice cream scoop to portion cookies.

  7. You can simply form small balls using a regular spoon if you don’t have that option. If you want to have extra chocolate chips on top, place them on each cookie separately. This gives an extra visual effect.

  8. Bake in a well-heated oven for about 8-10 minutes until they become golden brown.

  9. When one tray cookies are baking, prepare the next tray similarly.Remove the baked cookies onto a wire rack to cool.Enjoy!
