In a big bowl, mix together water, sugar, and yeast. Stir thoroughly to dissolve.
Slowly mix in flour and salt into the wet mixture until you have a dough.
Add olive oil to the dough and mix until well combined.
Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rest for around 20 minutes.
Stir the dough again until smooth.
Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
Move the dough to a floured surface and flatten it to remove air.
Fold the dough in half four times and shape it into a round ball.
Separate the dough into 3 equal parts and shape each into a tight ball.
Let the dough balls rest under a towel for around 15 minutes.
Shape each part into a long strip and place in the mold.
Cover the dough and let it rise for about 50 minutes, or until it fills 80-90% of the mold.
Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
