Slow Cooker Beef And Bean Chili
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Spray the pan with cooking spray then add the ground beef. Use a spatula to break up the meat as it cooks. Cook for 6-7 minutes or until the meat is cooked through and no longer pink, stirring occasionally.

  2. If there is an excessive amount of fat in the skillet, drain it off before adding the cooked meat to the slow cooker.

  3. Also to the slow cooker, add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, green chilies, kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans, broth, onion, bell pepper, jalapeño, garlic, chili powder, cumin, cocoa powder, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.

  4. Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours (or high for 4-5 hours).

  5. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired. Serve with desired toppings.
